Mesquite Smoked Brisket

Danke for the kind words! You are all so nice... :)

Jam jam! Great, can u use Fax?

Greetings guido
Megabear, thank you! I do not have Fax.

A really great Brisket, it looks Yum and your cooking grate is also amazing! Could you pls tell us something about the ingrediant and the time you need?Cheers Olly

Olly, thank you! It was a black angus brisket. I use coarse salt and cracked black pepper. I smoke on the drum with mesquite wood and place the brisket fat-side down. When the brisket reaches 185 degrees F, I wrap it in foil with beef stock. It sits for another hour until I serve it. This brisket cooked for 14 hours and 30 minutes.
It's not fancy or special but I like simple seasonings on beef. Thank you again!

This has become great Brisket.

I am hungry, can have I a piece?

:) Yes I would share with you. Thank you!

Hi chili-sten, Thank you! :)

Hello Jeannie,
your Brisket looks great. "The water gathers in my mouth". :)
I would also know which sauce you have used for the sliders and which kind of rub for the brisket. Have a nice day. :prost:

Thank you Kuchen! I use my favorite sauce. Billy Sim's Boot Kickin' Hot Q sauce.
It is made here in Oklahoma.

That grate looks amazing. Selfmade? I'd like to have someone who can make that for me.

Is it Iron cast? Or stainless or normal steel? Is it painted?

BTW: the brisket looks really great!

Thank you meatlover! The grate was made by a friend. He has an online site Meyer Metal Works.

it is normal steel and not painted. It is getting dark from use.
Here it is....

It is a picture of me sitting in a chair by the campfire. :)

Thank you again meatlover!

On your burritos: Do you reheat them after stuffing?

LG Rolf

Rolf, I like them both ways. Wrapped and eaten or wrapped and fried until crisp then eaten.
Thank you so much for everything Rolf! :)

Danke to everyone for making me feel welcome here!
